Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
1224 PM CST Sun Nov 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Precipitation is expected to begin moving into the area on
Monday, most likely in the afternoon. Low mixing heights
will lead to generally poor burning conditions.

Burning conditions will likely be best on Tuesday afternoon, at
least with regards to mixing heights and winds, but fuels are
likely to be wet from recent wetting rainfall.

A look further suggests best burning conditions would occur on
Thursday given current forecast conditions.

Fog potential over the next few days: Best chances for fog will
be on Wednesday morning, but mainly patchy fog is forecast at
this time. However, fog may occur during freezing conditions.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None
