Moore County in middle Tennessee... * Until 800 AM CDT. * At 553 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated persistent thunderstorms producing heavy rain extending from southern Lawrence County northeastward into southern Middle Tennessee. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
