...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM SATURDAY TO 2 AM PDT
MONDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 65 mph.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 2 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to, SR 14, 58, and 178, as well as U.S. 395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.

  stronger gusts to 60 mph possible at times near the slopes.

* WHERE...Indian Wells Valley and Mojave Desert.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 2 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to, SR 14, 58, and 178, as well as U.S. 395.
