.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected for central
California into early next week. An influx of monsoonal
moisture will continue to bring chances for showers and
thunderstorms across the district until the middle of
next week with the best chances over the higher elevations
of the Sierra Nevada. Elevated to critical fire weather
concerns are projected for the Frazier Park, Grapevine,
and Fort Tejon areas until this evening as thunderstorm
outflow winds potentially produce strong and gusty
erratic winds. Mixing heights will continue high, or
above 10,000 feet in this area and many locations and
will produce favorable conditions for plume-dominated
fire potential.
