The National Weather Service in Hanford CA has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  Northwestern Kern County in central California...
  Eastern Kings County in central California...
  Southwestern Tulare County in central California...

* Until 400 PM PST.

* At 315 PM PST, a dust channel was 9 miles southwest of Woodville,
  or 13 miles south of Tulare, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than one half mile visibility with strong wind in
           excess of 40 mph.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

* Dust contiues to impact the 99 corridor near Tulare, CA.

Locations impacted include...
Tulare, Porterville, Delano, Earlimart, Poplar-Cotton Center,
Woodville, East Porterville, Strathmore, Tipton, Pixley, Alpaugh, and
Allensworth State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.
