Over the course of a week the mean pattern will favor persistent
upper level ridging with the passage of a couple cold fronts. Each
frontal passage will support an uptick in periods of showers,
mostly for windward locations, along with more southerly winds.
Rain accumulations are expected to be very light with scattered
coverage, especially for western islands. As high pressure moves
in to the north, stronger easterly winds will return and may allow
for increased mainly windward shower activity next week.
