Guidance continues to overall agree that a mean upper trough
position blocked just to the northwest of the islands by upper
ridging is acting to veer light to moderate island trades along
with only a modest increase in moisture and showers as deep
moisture holds offshore. Trades may become moderate to locally
breezy mid-late week and continue to slowly strengthen into the
weekend as high pressure bridges to the north of the state, but
moisture should remain limited.
