...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN MONTGOMERY...
SOUTHEASTERN SAN JACINTO...WESTERN LIBERTY...SOUTH CENTRAL POLK AND
NORTHEASTERN HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 553 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Plum Grove, or 10 miles southeast of Cleveland, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Plum Grove, Romayor, Tarkington Prairie, and Rye.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southeastern
Texas.
