...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN GALVESTON...NORTHWESTERN
CHAMBERS...SOUTHWESTERN LIBERTY AND EASTERN HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH
515 PM CDT...

At 432 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crosby to Clear Lake Shores to 7 miles
southwest of Hitchcock. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Clear Lake Shores, Crosby, Kemah, Liberty, Baytown, Pasadena,
Ellington Field, San Jacinto State Park, La Porte, Deer Park, Mont
Belvieu, Clear Lake, Channelview, Cove, Seabrook, The Johnson Space
Center, Nassau Bay, Beach City, Lake Houston Dam, and Morgan`s Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern
Texas.
