...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WHARTON...CENTRAL
JACKSON AND WEST CENTRAL MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM CST...

At 629 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Edna, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Edna, Ganado, La Ward, Lolita, Vanderbilt, Lake Texana Dam, Louise,
and Midfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
