The Texas Department of State Health Services announces that
effective at 12:01 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the private
oyster harvest areas of TX 14 of Tres Palacios Bay, and public
oyster harvest areas of TX 19 and TX 20 of Lavaca Bay as depicted
on the maps dated November 1, 2024 will be closed to the
harvesting of molluscan shellfish defined as oysters, clams, and
mussels.
