.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions are anticipated this weekend due
to dry fuels are low relative humidity. Winds will be light and
generally northerly early today, sifting east this afternoon and
southeasterly this evening, though gusts should remain below 10
mph. Relative humidity should drop to at least 30% between 2 to 5
PM today, bottoming out around 28% during that time frame. Mixing
heights will be over 3,000 ft between 12 to 5 PM, dropping under
1,000 ft by 7 PM tonight.

The Texas A&M Forest Service is still forecasting moderate to
high fire danger for a good part of Southeast Texas this weekend.
Meaningful rainfall is not anticipated through most of next week.
