Currently seeing light northeast/east winds early this morning near the Texas coastal plains with temperatures about to bottom out around 60-65 degrees based on current observations. As we start to heat up this afternoon, expect winds to shift southeasterly and strengthen up to around 8-14 mph with a few higher gusts to 18 mph. This wind shift should begin fairly soon after sunrise. RH should be a tad higher than that of yesterday, roughtly in the range of 45-55% during the afternoon, with highs in the mid/upper 80s (approaching/potentially breaking the 90 degree mark). Mixing heights will be over 3,000 ft between 11AM to 6PM. The Texas A&M Forest Service still has their Fire Danger Rating for the Texas coastal plains at moderate for today due to dry fuels. .REST OF TODAY...
