At 1003 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Additionally, HFD has reported multiple water rescues within the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Pasadena, Pearland, League City, Sugar Land, Baytown, Missouri City, Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Stafford, South Houston, Bellaire, Seabrook, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Webster, Manvel, Greater Hobby Area, South Belt / Ellington and Greater Eastwood.
