There will be an increasing south to southeasterly fetch in the
western and northwestern Gulf over the remainder of the week, with
winds reaching caution flag levels today and potentially small
craft advisory levels tonight and Friday. Seas will also increase,
reaching 6 to 8 feet or higher over the open Gulf by the weekend.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms will return to the forecast
over the weekend, with the highest rain chances on Sunday.
