.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

The combination of a developing coastal low offshore and an
approaching upper level disturbance will produce widespread rain
and isolated thunderstorms over the waters today. Some of the rain
could be heavy at times and reduce visibilities. Moderate
northeast winds today will back to the north and increase to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 30 knots as the coastal low moves off to
the east. Small Craft Advisories will likely continue into Tuesday
morning before winds and seas begin to subside. Southeast winds
will resume Tuesday night. Though there is some some uncertainty,
let`s be on the lookout for the possibility of some sea fog
development Wednesday night ahead of the next frontal passage on
Thursday.
