Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. Although Gale Conditions will come to an end over the next few hours, gusty north to northwest winds are expected to persist over the course of the day today along with seas as high as 8 feet. As a result, a Small Craft Advisory will remain in effect through midnight tonight. Rainfall should taper off by late morning. Winds should briefly relax on Saturday and shift to the south before moderate offshore winds return on Sunday with the arrival of a frontal boundary.
