.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A long fetch of moderate south and southeast winds will continue
across the western Gulf today, resulting in continued hazardous
winds and seas. Rip current risk is expected to be high as well
through the weekend. Decreasing winds and seas are expected
Sunday into Monday, before increasing somewhat by the middle of
the week. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase Sunday and
continue into next week as increased Gulf moisture interacts with
a series of upper level disturbances.
