Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A cold front will stall over central waters today. Although the
front will gradually dissipate tonight and Thursday, associated
moisture will combine with a low aloft to bring the potential for
thunderstorms. High pressure will then build and prevail northeast
of the area into the weekend. An extra-large west-northwest swell
will peak today.

winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 12 to 21 ft. S of front, variable winds 15
kt or less. Seas 8 to 12 ft.
.TONIGHT...Front stalled over central waters. NE to E winds 10 to
20 kt, strongest N. Seas 12 to 17 ft N waters, and seas 8 to 12
ft S waters. Isolated thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY..NE to E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 9 to 16
ft Thursday, 6 to 12 ft Friday and Saturday, and 6 to 9 ft
Sunday. Isolated thunderstorms.
