Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A cold front over the central waters will continue to move SE
down the island chain tonight before stalling and dissipating over
SE waters Thursday. A brief period of moderate to strong NW winds
is expected behind the front. Winds will diminish on Thursday as
a ridge moves over the area, with the ridge moving north Friday
and Saturday.

.TONIGHT...Dissipating front from 24N154W to 17N159W. N of front,
W to NW winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 8 to 14 ft. S of front, variable
winds 10 kt or less. Seas 5 to 8 feet. Isolated thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY...Front dissipated. Variable winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 7
to 14 ft, highest N.
.FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...NE to E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 12
ft, subsiding to 5 to 9 ft Saturday and Sunday.
