Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
Low pressure NW of the offshore waters will slowly weaken and
shift NE through Sunday. Winds over the western half of the area
will become light and variable while moderate E to SE flow
persists across the eastern half of Hawaiian offshore waters.
Chance of thunderstorms NW waters through early next week.

to NW late in the afternoon. SE Half, E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 6
to 7 ft. Isolated thunderstorms NW Half.
.MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...E winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
Isolated thunderstorms E of 160W Monday and Tuesday.
