Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A broad trough remains over the N offshore waters for the next
couple of days. A surface high will build far NE through the rest
of the week while tracking E. Another high will quickly develop N
of the area over the weekend before tracking east. An upper low
will swing over the N half of the area tonight through the
weekend, bringing a chance for thunderstorms.
