...EXTRA LARGE NORTH SWELL TO PRODUCE SURGES IN NORTH FACING
HARBORS...

An extra large, long period north swell from 350 to 360 degrees
will peak this morning, then slowly lower this afternoon and
tonight. Moderate to heavy surges are expected in north facing
harbors, especially at Kahului and Hilo. Mariners using these
harbors should exercise caution when entering or leaving port and
when mooring or launching.
