...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING
SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHU AND MOLOKAI AND NORTH FACING SHORES
OF MAUI...

.A moderate size, long period northwest swell that peaked this
morning has lifted surf to High Surf Advisory heights along the
north and west-facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu and Molokai
and the north-facing shores of Maui. A quick hitting reinforcing
northwest swell will arrive early Friday morning and this will
help maintain advisory level surf through Friday morning. North
and west-facing shore surf should significantly drop Friday
afternoon and evening.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON HST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Large surf between 15 to 20 feet along many north facing
  shores, 10 to 12 feet along many west facing shores.

* WHERE...The north and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai,
  Oahu, and Molokai and north facing shores of Maui.

* WHEN...Until noon HST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
  will make swimming dangerous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t
go out.
