.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM
High pressure builds in from the north and will hold over New
England through Saturday while Hurricane Erin passes well southeast
of the coastal waters. Long period swell from Erin will build,
peaking later today into Saturday. The gradient from Erin and high
pressure to the north will bring increasing north to northeast flow
through the day. Winds shifts out of the south over the weekend and
increase ahead of an approaching cold front.
