482 FZUS51 KGYX 011746 CWFGYX Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Gray ME 1246 PM EST Mon Dec 1 2025 COASTAL WATERS FROM STONINGTON ME TO MERRIMACK RIVER MA OUT TO 25 NM ANZ100-020800- 1246 PM EST Mon Dec 1 2025 .Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM... Gusty winds continue across all waters this afternoon until high pressure settles over the region tonight and allows them to diminish along with seas. This will be only a brief break as a strong and deepening coastal storm will pass just off Cape Cod and race east northeast. This will spread mostly rain over the coastal waters until Tuesday night when colder air moves in and flips precipitation nearer the coast to heavy snow. Marginal gale force wind gusts are possible in the wake of the storm Tuesday night into Wednesday and the rest of the week looks to remain gusty. An Arctic front will cross the waters Thursday and bring another period of potential northwesterly gales. High pressure will build in Friday and allow winds and seas to gradually diminish. $$ ANZ154-020800- Coastal Waters from Cape Elizabeth, ME to Merrimack River, MA out 25 NM- 1246 PM EST Mon Dec 1 2025 ...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING... ...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... .TONIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt early this evening, then becoming N 5 to 10 kt late this evening, becoming E after midnight, becoming SE.
