For the northern CNMI, the active weather pattern will continue for this week and likely into next as the moist, southerly flow persists. Expect scattered to possibly at times numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds today and tomorrow will be gentle to moderate, with fresh to at times strong gusts possible, especially near heavy showers and thunderstorms. Conditions look to deteriorate late week up towards Asuncion and especially Farallon de Pajaros with a potential disturbance developing near Iwo To. .TODAY (ANATAHAN)... Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (60-70 percent). Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. (40 percent) Surface winds (kts).South winds 10 to 15 knots.
