0.47 inches of rain fell at the Guam International Airport
yesterday. This allowed the KBDI to decrease with today`s reading
at 639, which is still in the high category. Moderate to fresh trade
winds are expected for today with slightly drier conditions in store
than yesterday, which will maintain an elevated fire threat.
However, critical Red Flag conditions are not expected to be met over
the next few days with trade winds decreasing through the weekend.
Minimum relative humidity values are expected between 60 and 65
percent for today and may dip below 60 percent at times this weekend
into early next week, but wind speeds should remain well below
critical levels for fire weather.
