Yesterday, 0.05 inches of rain fell at Guam International Airport,
and the KBDI has increased slightly to 319, still in the moderate
fire danger category. A seasonally dry weather pattern is expected
across the region for at least the next several days and will allow
the KBDI to climb. The Marianas is starting to transition into its
typical dry season that usually runs from late December or January
to about May. As the KBDI gradually climbs, the fire danger rating
will eventually increase, especially on days when winds become
breezy.
