...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CHST EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern parts of Guam, including Dededo, Yigo and
  Andersen AFB.

* WHEN...Until 145 AM ChST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1241 AM ChST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This
    will cause urban and small stream flooding.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dededo, Yigo, Mangilao and Andersen AFB.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
