The National Weather Service in Tiyan has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Guam...

* Until 730 AM ChST.

* At 538 AM ChST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches
  of rain have fallen in the past 2 hours and additional rainfall
  amounts of 1.5 to 2 inches are possible across Guam in the next 1
  to 2 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, and streets as well as other poor drainage and
           low-lying areas.

* Guam, especially in poor drainage areas and areas near rivers or
  streams.

Steeper terrain could be prone to mudslides in these heavier rains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded or blocked
roads.

Report flooding or blocked roads to law enforcement.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
