...INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM NOON TO 7 PM EST TODAY...

Winds will become gusty from the west later this morning, and
continue through the afternoon, with frequent gusts of 20 to 30
mph expected. Additionally, relative humidity is expected to
decrease to the 25 to 30 percent range across the North Carolina
foothills and western Piedmont by late afternoon. These factors
will combine with dry vegetation to increase the potential for the
start and spread of wildfires across the area.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
whether you may burn outdoors.  If you do burn outside,
use extreme caution.
