...THE GROWING SEASON BEGINS FOR THE SC AND GA MOUNTAINS AND THE
SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL NC MOUNTAINS...

Going forward, Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories will be issued
for these areas until the growing season ends this fall. A Freeze
Warning will be issued whenever widespread temperatures are expected
to fall below freezing, and a Frost Advisory will be issued whenever
expected conditions are favorable for the formation of frost.

The growing season is expected to begin for the northern NC mountains
and adjacent foothills on April 21st.
