mountains of North Carolina.

   Freezing Fog Advisory.

In addition, precipitation will begin after midnight across the
mountains, possibly as a brief wintry mix. A quick transition to
light snow at elevations above 3500 feet and cold rain below 3500
feet is expected. A light accumulation of snow is possible at high
elevations by daybreak.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Light accumulating snow is expected to continue into Monday afternoon
at elevations above 3500 feet, with a light accumulation possible.

Patchy dense freezing fog is possible in the French Broad River
valley early this morning.

In addition, precipitation will begin after midnight across the
mountains, possibly as a brief wintry mix. A quick transition to
light snow at elevations above 3500 feet and cold rain below 3500
feet is expected. A light accumulation of snow is possible at high
elevations by daybreak.
