.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop out ahead
of an approaching cold front on Sunday afternoon. Strong wind shear
will raise the risk for some of these storms to become severe over
north Georgia, in which case the storms could reach southwest North
Carolina, northeast Georgia, and the western Upstate before
weakening. The amount of instability that develops across the area on
Sunday will help determine if severe storms are able to form.
