Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI
417 AM EDT Sun Oct 12 2025

...Dry Conditions Continue...

.DISCUSSION...

Chances for rain are limited through the upcoming week. There is a 20
percent chance Tuesday night for southwest Michigan, but current
trends show that we`ll likely stay dry. Minimum relative humidity
values are expected to be in the 40s and 50s with high temperatures
in the 60s to low 70s. A cold front Tuesday night into Wednesday will
bring in drier air with minimum relative humidity values in the 30s
and 40s and 30s potentially down into the 20s on Thursday. Winds will
remain in the 5 to 15 mph range through the week. Our next chance for
rain moves in Friday/Friday night.
