...The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids MI has issued a
Flood Watch for the following rivers in Michigan...

  Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County.

.Runoff from heavy rainfall that fell across Lower Michigan earlier
this week will produce a crest on the Grand River near Comstock
Park.  Additional rainfall over the next few days will contribute to
the river level rises.  Comstock Park will rise to near or slightly
above flood stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

  - At 11:24 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
