...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DOOR COUNTY THROUGH 700
PM CDT...

At 620 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles north of Newport State Park, or 23 miles south of Escanaba,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Washington Island and Rock Island State Park.
