...BURST OF SNOW WITH LOWERED VISIBILITIES EXPECTED LATE THIS
AFTERNOON...

At 456 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking line of heavier snow
showers along a line extending from near Phelps to near Willow Lake
to near Jump River. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Burst of moderate to heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
         blowing snow and visibility under one half mile. Wind gusts
         up to 20 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Lowered visibilities and a quick accumulation of snow up to
         a half inch.

Locations impacted include...
Rhinelander, Eagle River, Tomahawk, Newbold, Harrison, Phelps,
Woodboro, Crystal Lake Scout Reservation, Willow Lake, and Rainbow
Flowage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If traveling, reduce speed and allow extra space in between
vehicles. Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
possible.
