Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
308 PM CDT Fri May 16 2025

Warm temperatures and gusty south winds prevailed across the
forecast area early this afternoon as low pressure approached
from the west. Gusts to 35 mph were reported across north central
Wisconsin, with gusts between 25 and 30 mph observed elsewhere.

Expect showers and thunderstorms to develop this afternoon across
central and eastern Wisconsin and persist through the evening. A
few storms may become strong to severe, with gusty winds and hail
up to one inch being the main threats. Scattered showers and
isolated non severe thunderstorms are then expected overnight
into Saturday morning. Highs this afternoon will rise into the
low to upper 70s, with some locations in the Fox Valley
potentially seeing 80 degrees. Temperatures along the lakeshore
will read around five to ten degrees cooler.

A pattern shift to cooler and wetter weather is in store
beginning next week, with several chances for rain currently in
the forecast. High temperatures will only reach into the 50s and
60s for most.
