Early this morning, skies were clear to partly cloudy. Patchy fog
was also noted, especially near the bay and Lake Michigan where
the fog was also locally dense with a visibility around a quarter
of a mile. Temperatures were in the 50s to around 60.

For today, any linger fog should burn off by mid-morning. Another
warm September afternoon is expected with highs in the 80s. The
chances of thunderstorms will be on the increase later this
afternoon into tonight as a round of showers and storms are
expected move across the area. Stronger storms with gusty winds,
small hail and locally heavy rainfall will be possible, especially
across central and north-central Wisconsin this evening. Patchy
fog will be possible late tonight. Lows tonight should drop into
the upper 50s to middle 60s. Lingering chances for rain and storms
will exit far northeast Wisconsin Friday morning. Skies will turn
sunny from west to east as high temperatures climb into the
middle 70s to lower 80s.
