As of 4pm temperatures were ranging from the upper 40s on Washington Island to the low 60s in central WI. Winds were gusting 25 to 30 mph, with the strongest gusts along the lakeshore. Winds will gradually state to diminish the evening. Temperatures are expected to fall back into the middle 20s to low 30s across most of the region tonight. Temperatures continue to warm through Monday, topping out in the mid to upper 60s along and south of Highway 29. If trends hold, several record high temperatures will be in jeopardy Monday afternoon. Ice jams and associated flooding will continue to be possible due to warmer temperatures and melting ice on area rivers. A strong low pressure system is then expected to bring both storm and snow chances to the Midwest later in the week. $$ GK
