Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
1148 AM CST Fri Feb 28 2025

For today, the big story will be wind. Strong and gusty west to
northwest winds are expected to gust to 35 to 50 mph, with the
highest gusts mainly south of a line from Wausau to Washington
Island. Light snow or light rain should continue at times across
the far north. Highs should top in in the middle 30s to near 40
north to near 50 across east-central Wisconsin.

For tonight, any rain and snow mix across the far north will
change over to all snow. Total accumulation of an inch or two is
possible across Vilas County with lighter amounts to the south.
It will remain windy as northwest winds usher in much colder air.
Lows tonight should drop into the single digits above zero across
the north to 10 to 15 elsewhere.

Below normal temperatures should prevail on Saturday with highs
in the teens to lower 20s north and in the 20s to around 30 over
the remainder of the area. Warmer temperatures return on Sunday
with highs in the 30s.
