.DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry weather is anticipated through Saturday night. The
only exception will be slight chances for showers in far northeast
WI Friday afternoon with the passage of a cold front; however,
amounts will be minimal, if any. Ahead of the cold front,
southwest winds will gust to 25 mph, and turn northwest sometime
late Friday morning/midday and gust to 25 mph. Given the slightly
earlier timing of the cold front, high temperatures will not be as
warm as previously forecast. However, due to the critically dry
fuels, especially in far northeast WI, where moderate to severe
drought exists, Friday will still be the day to monitor for
elevated fire weather conditions.
