...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast
  Wisconsin, including the following counties, in central Wisconsin,
  eastern Marathon, northwestern Portage and Wood. In north central
  Wisconsin, southern Langlade and southeastern Lincoln. In
  northeast Wisconsin, northwestern Menominee and western Shawano.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1240 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wausau, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Antigo, Weston, Rib
    Mountain, Mosinee, Whiting, Bevent, Wittenberg, Pittsville,
    Lake Wazeecha, Babcock, Plover, Rothschild, Stockton,
    Nekoosa, Schofield, Knowlton and Port Edwards.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
