High temperatures on Thursday ranged from 60 to 68 degrees across
the majority of the area, except in far western portions of Kit
Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, where snow cover kept
temperatures from exceeding the 40s. No precipitation was observed
during the past 24 hours.

OUTLOOK... Benign weather will prevail through the weekend. Above
average temperatures will predominate, except in far western
portions of Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, where
locally cooler temperatures will persist in areas with snow cover.
A potent low pressure system anticipated to develop in the lee of
the southern Rockies Sunday night will track north northeast
through the Central Plains Monday into Monday night, bringing
heavy rainfall and breezy winds to portions of the Tri-State
area.
