High temperatures on Tuesday were 10 to 25 degrees above average,
ranging from the upper 50s in Hill City to 70 degrees in Goodland.
In early December, average high temperatures are in the mid to
upper 40s. No precipitation was observed during the past 24 hours.

OUTLOOK... Benign weather characterized by mostly clear skies,
light winds and dry conditions will prevail through the remainder
of the week. Above average temperatures will persist today, with
highs in the mid to upper 50s. A cold frontal passage tonight will
bring noticeably cooler temperatures to the region on Thursday,
when highs will range from the upper 30s to upper 40s, coolest
east of Highway 83 in Kansas and Nebraska. Above average
temperatures will return on Friday and persist through the
upcoming weekend.
