...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1993, heavy snow of six to twelve inches covered all of
northwest Kansas. The snow began Friday afternoon, the 8th, and
ended Saturday afternoon. Blowing and drifting snow closed some
roads in the area.
