Drought Information Statement

Drought continued to worsen across southern portions of the
Goodland forecast area for March 2025. Western portions however
saw above normal precipitation which helped keep drought away or
even in some cases improved. Temperatures overall where above
normal along with a couple of stretches during the month where
daily records fell. Where the lowest amounts of precipitation fell
some increased fire danger may present itself through the month of
April.
