The monsoonal surge is finally here, with widespread showers and
thunderstorms expected this afternoon and through the rest of the week.
Main concerns will be heavy rain, frequent lightning, small hail, and gusty
winds. Concern is increasing for flash flooding and debris flows over
recent burn scars and other sensitive areas, such as slot canyons.
Temperatures will run near to below normal through the week.
